Elaine Tutte CYT

Elaine is a certified Hatha Yoga Teacher who received her teacher training in 2000 from Prana Yoga Center under the strict tutelage of her Guru, Shakti Mhi.

After completing her training and receiving her credentials Elaine apprenticed and performed Karma Yoga for the first year. When she began to teach “solo” her classes very quickly began to fill with students who enjoyed and felt comforted by her calm, caring manner. They began to anticipate the new postures they would learn every class and her intermediate/advanced student are always assured of the many variations they will be offered to deepen their practice. Elaine never asks for perfection from her students…usually she asks for just a smile and hopefully a laugh at one of her “jokes”.

Elaine enjoys the challenge of having a  wide variety of students. She teaches year round at the Sauble Beach Community Centre as well as in the summer, at the historic Oliphant Pavilion. She also teaches 3 classes a week at the YMCA in Owen Sound and is the resident teacher for the Owen Sound Aquatic Club.

Elaine has studied with Hart Lazer, Doug Swenson, and Ifat Erez among others. She has expanded her training, completing courses in Yoga Nidra, The Five Tibetans, Meditation, Gentle Yoga, and Intermediate/Advanced Hatha Yoga.  Elaine has a commitment to life long learning and sharing her love of yoga with all it’s profound benefits.

Elaine lives on the shore of Lake Huron with her amazing husband and two shaggy dogs! Each day they watch the beautiful sunsets and feel truly blessed.
